Need help with Rp?

Here's just some tips about roleplaying. I hope you find them helpfull.

People, please. When you make a character, try to take time with the name and description? A little originality wont kill you. No one likes name like Spot, Max, Jake, or Rex. Try to choose an orginal name. And please, when writing a description, pease don't do it in one or two sentences. It's more fun when you have a full, detailed description, personality, and history. When people have a description like "black fur, blue eyes. Very nice wolf," it's not fun.

Never post one-liners! This is usually just one sentence of what your character is doing. Posting dialogue is not an excuse for a one-liner. The people who you roleplay with may not like it at all. The occasional one-liner is fine (barely) but do not make it a habit to where everyone else has the brunt of the roleplay. You are there too, so make the attempt to write longer posts. Use description! Don't just say "Comet walked into the camp and sat down." Where is Comet? What does the camp look like? How did he walk in? How did he sit down? How was he feeling? What was he thinking as he walked in? Where had he just been? You need to think of all these questions whenever you RP. Instead, you could say something like, "Comet briskly walked into the camp, his fur wet from swimming at the lake. Wrinkling his nose at the sickeningly strong smell that still lingered on him, from when he was in The Forsaken's territory. He glanced at the other wolves roaming the camp. He began to lick his chest fur in attempt to make it dry faster, since sitting there wet was starting to get uncomfertable". Now do you see what you're aiming for?

RPing may seem like hard work, but you can really get into it and have a lot of fun.

Don't be afraid of adding too many details. The more details, the better off the roleplay will be. But don't add too much detail about one thing unless it is the main subject, because then it's just pointless.

No one liners. They do nothing to advance the post. Even if you're just talking, add something else after the dialogue is finished. Such as: " "Hey, Escape," Heroine replied, "How was your hunt?" She asked. While listening to his reply, she perked her ears and nodded, a grin forming on her face. "

There are two ways to RP: One is to talk in third person, like: " Voltage mercilessly tackles Fallout, pinning him to the ground. His claws unsheathed into the wolf's shoulders as he snarled his threat, "Trespassing, are we?" "

The second one is to talk in first person, like: *tackles Fallout, pinning him to the ground* But when you are talking in first person it is crucial to use asterisks (*), or hyphens (-).

It doesn't really matter which form you use while roleplaying. As long as you're comfertable with the form that you use, it shouldn't matter. Some site only allow third person, but on FallingLikeBlood, I don't care.

The Plot:

Once again, right when everyone thought the worst of their days were over, they were all fooled. The sickness, the fire, and now the hunters and their pests? They've all taken so many innocent lives - broken so many hearts and left so many alone in this world with nothing left to live for. No one knows how just how much more of this they can take. Just when the packs thought they wouldn't make it out of this one alive, it ended. They're free, it's over. No matter how many lives get lost, no matter how many times the forest gets destroyed, they make it out okay in the end. As the packs work to find the missing warriors and disposing of all the bodies, they grow stronger. They grow smarter, and they come closer together in the fight to make it out okay. But most importantly: they are alive.
